Currently working as Chief Science Officer, fairlife LLC this is basically continuation of the work as Director of Research and Development for Select Milk Producers, joined Select Milk Producers group in 2004.

Education: - B.Sc. and M.Sc. Degrees in Dairy Technology from Gujarat Agriculture University, India, and a Ph.D. in Food Science from National University of Ireland, Cork 1999.

Worked as Research Scientist in California Polytechnic State University from 2000 to 2004 Worked as Researcher (1999 to 2000) at the National Food Biotechnology Center, University College Cork Ireland. The research was on biochemistry of cheese ripening and isolation of milk proteins

Prior to Ph.D. worked in dairy/agro business establishment, Saudi Arabia as a production manager, also worked as a dairy scientist in the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India. Also has experience of managing a Government dairy in India just after BSc. in Dairy Technology.

Has refereed for Journal of Food Science, Journal of Dairy Research, and Journal of Dairy Science and has published research articles on Cheese Technology, Cheese biochemistry, milk powders, ice cream, lactose intolerance and indigenous milk enzymes. Work with Select milk producers has published several US and international patents dealing with dairy protein isolation technologies.
