Erik Hanson is the Global Product Management Director for Filtration & Membranes at GE Power & Water located in Minnetonka, MN. He has over 20 years of experience in industrial and municipal water treatment using membranes. During his career, he has worked in Product Management, Engineering, and Sales. Currently, Mr. Hanson is responsible for global product management and product marketing of advanced filtration and separation products including reverse osmosis, nano-filtration, and ultrafiltration, with an emphasis on lower energy, higher water recovery, and robust process applications. Mr. Hanson's experience includes sales and marketing leadership, business strategy, new product innovation, development, and commercialization. His expertise includes water treatment technology, system design, and operation as they relate to the needs of customers in the power, beverage, desalination, pharmaceutical, municipal, and chemical processing. He regularly performs technical training seminars through-out the world focused on membrane systems and separations. Mr. Hanson is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND.
